Good food, quick service, warm and inviting vibes. I sticked to breakfast, so not sure how everything else but French toast was solid. Ask for a fried chicken breast and French toast, trust me!

Great food, friendly service. Had the Vermonter, the Swiss Boy, and the kids shrimp basket. All were delicious. Always worth the trip to this charming diner.

This place is the best. It’s a “dive” for sure, but just means the food is awesome. Prices are the same as other diners, but the food quality is much higher. All the menu is local food, so it’s less of a diner and more of a Vermont cuisine restaurant. The kitchen is huge, and full of cooks turning out fresh food fast. They have a small army of servers, so there is little wait. Be warned, this place can get full, but I’ve never not had a table. All locals eat here, farmers and their families. It’s my #1 recommendation whenever a tourist asks where to eat. And they always thank me later.

Miss Lyndonville is all grown up, and should be Ms Lyndonville, because this is no rookie establishment. MLD has been around for years, and on my most recent visit, I was blown away by their cinnamon roll French toast. Three huge pieces of eggy sweet goodness, with pure Vermont maple syrup to drizzle all over it, and I ate the whole thing. To top it off, I had a slice of their maple cream pie, which was by far the best I've ever had. So creamy and whipped like a mousse that you'd get in a fancy restaurant. There was plenty of seating for the five of us, and the service was excellent. I left with a feeling of accomplishment, and can't wait to go home again so that I can visit the diner for another meal.

I used to visit here when I was attending Lyndon State College, 35 years ago. I am very pleased to come back to see it's still here. The food is wonderful, very good prices and portions, and an excellent kind, attentive staff.

During our 2 weeks vacation, we visited this diner twice and both times it was the best food we enjoyed in that area. Both times we were seated quickly and my husband is in a wheelchair so that is huge to be able to accommodate that with ease. The waiter and waitress for our 2 visits were attentive, friendly and displayed exemplary customer service skills! The food was absolutely delicious, perfect, served quickly and hot. And for our family of 5, both visits with tip 20% were $70 each. Worth every penny!

Great place!! This is THE place to stop when in the area for breakfast. Service is good and food is excellent. The breakfast is traditional and done right. I will return soon and try some lunch options. Certainly and experience worth having.

We were on our way back from a bus trip to Quebec and stopped for lunch. This diner is a gem for sure. The food was excellent and you could tell it was freshly made. Everyone on the staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely worth stopping at.

I loved this place. The food was awesome and big portions for the price. The service was great and I loved that they had art for sale on the walls. Truly worth the stop.

As a out of town visitor, had a great meal expectation that was met. Even though the place was super busy, the service and food was served quick.

Husband had the deep fried homefries and I was so mad I didnt order them but very happy that he shared. They were amazing as was the rest of the meal. My only complaint is that I was too full for banana cream pie. I wish the waiter had mentioned the pie flavors before I ordered so much delicious food. Always good!

Me and my boyfriend eat here almost every weekend!! Sunday is busy busy but the service is always fast wonderful and just as good as the food!! Two thumbs up!! As well as a very good price for large portions!!

Great little old school diner. Food was not point and service was impeccable. Menu covered everything from breakfast (served all day) to sandwiches and some entree items.

We call at 6:30am for breakfast takeout at 7:15am. Always hit and ready...happy awake staff and SUPER DELICIOUS food.

This place is great, a cut above most other diners and on par with the best, with some minor, personal taste caveats. The service is prompt, efficient. Had the Baked Cajun Haddock, and it's spicy, was perfectly cooked, amply proportioned. Wasn't a fan of the potato salad, sweeter than I like, but the slaw was perfect, and over too soon. The pies were good, not great, flavor was there but crust was underwhelming. Just wasn't flakey. Otherwise, excellent, and absolutely recommend a visit (or two!).

Love love love the miss lyndonville....hours have changed but would go every day if i could...i live and work too far away for that, so once a week is a MUST.

Excellent dinner food. Friendly and efficient service even if the place was packed at 2:30 pm on Saturday afternoon. Portions are HUGE, seriously! Good acoustic, not loud even when the place is full. Great vintage decor.
